Not Dead Yet Newsletter #17

In this 17th edition of the Not Dead Yet Newsletter, I talk about Darkest Autumn, the book that inspired "Everyone Dies", early art for Iron Meridian, talk about Jim Ballard's upcoming new book, and talk about my roleplaying hobby.

Darkest Autumn 3rd Edition

My novel, "Everyone Dies," was created in reaction to the first book in a series I co-wrote. Well, my co-author (and wife) Audrey is working on a 3rd edition of that book, titled "Darkest Autumn". She's also an artist and created a new cover, check it out below.

We'll be releasing the entire series in a variety of places. In the meantime, if you want to get an ARC, go to the official Ambria website series website and sign up the mailing list. When the ARC is ready, we'll contact everyone who signed up there.

Draft art for Iron Meridian

The goal of Iron Meridian is to portray a conflict between two societies, one diesel punk and the other solar punk. This image captures the idea well, with a smoky warship in the front and a solar-powered community in the background. There is an issue with the bow of the ship, yet I think it is nearly there.

Writing fiction isn’t the only way I love telling stories. I’ve been running tabletop RPGs for years, and lately I’ve started running games professionally on StartPlaying. There’s something wonderful about sitting down with a group of people and creating a story together. Especially when the players inevitably take it somewhere I never expected. If you enjoy my fiction and you’ve ever wanted to share a table with me, take a look at my StartPlaying profile. I’d love to have you in one of my games.
