This notice describes information handled when you use Fiction of Daniel Roy Greenfeld, a website hosted by Stead.

Messages and reader subscriptions

When you use the Contact page, your name, email address, and message are sent to the site owner to respond to your enquiry. Messages are delivered through Stead's email service. Do not send payment card details or passwords.

If you choose to join a mailing list or request a reader copy, the details you submit are used to provide that service. A connected mailing-list provider may process your email address. A book purchase does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Book orders and payments

For purchases made through Stead, the buyer email, selected edition and files, payment references, and order status are used to deliver the purchase, provide replacement download links, and maintain transaction records. Stripe handles payment card details.

If a buying link takes you to another retailer, that retailer's privacy notice applies to the information you provide there.

Hosting and retention

Stead uses Cloudflare for hosting and storage. Operational information is processed to deliver and secure the service. Order records are kept as needed to provide access, support transactions, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Messages may be retained by the site owner for correspondence.
